I'm Laura — neurodivergent, single mom, spiritual seeker, and a woman who's done a lot of work to understand why I am the way I am. The Wounded Inner Child series started as a personal project and turned into something bigger. Because I'm not the only one who needed this. These episodes cover shadow work, somatic healing, inner child theory, and mysticism — in plain language, without the gatekeeping.

You know the feeling.

The thought that started small and is now a catastrophe. The conversation you've replayed forty-seven times. The chest tightness that showed up before your mind even decided there was something to worry about.

You've been told to breathe. To think positive. To meditate.

You've tried. It doesn't work — not in the middle of it. Not when the loop is already running.

Here's what nobody tells you: you cannot think your way out of a spiral. When your nervous system is activated, the rational part of your brain goes partially offline. Logic can't reach a nervous system in crisis.

What actually works is a pattern interrupt. Something body-first. Something fast. Something that gives your nervous system a different signal — one that says: the threat has passed. You are safe.
